Customers are responsible for keeping track of their time while renting an equipment. Returning a rental late will result in additional charge(s). Please be respectful of our schedule of operations and note there may be other customers waiting to get on the equipment for their reservation. Returning equipment late quickly becomes inconvenient and throws off the entire schedule throughout the day especially on busy weekends.
You must be Age 21+ to make a jet ski reservation and at least 18+ to operate without supervision. Those who possess a United States Coast Guard operator's license, temporary operator's license, renter's or lease agreement, or are resident of another state or country operating on the waters of North Carolina for less than 90 days are exempt from the education requirement if under the age of 26. No one under the age of 14 can operate a PWC by themselves. A person who is at least 14 years old, but less than 18 years old, can operate a jet ski in public waters if: they are accompanied by an adult 18+ of age who is in compliance with the North Carolina boating education requirements OR the youth has successfully completed a North Carolina approved boating safety education course and carries proof of completing the course and an identification card while operating the jet ski. Each person aboard a PWC is required to wear a personal floatation device. Operators over the age of 26 are not required to possess a North Carolina approved boating safety certificate while operating on the waters of North Carolina but it is still recommended that you successfully complete a North Carolina approved boating safety course before operating a jet ski.
1. A $500 per jetski security deposit is required at the time of check-in. You may opt to apply it to the card on file, use a different card, or split the full amount over multiple cards, whichever is more convenient for you. A security deposit is not a charge, but rather a hold, and is 100% released back to the same card, on condition all rented equipment is/are returned with no damage(s). Please note the full security deposit amount must be available on your card(s) of choice to successfully process. You will not be allowed to proceed with your rental without the security deposit. For your convenience, please refer to company cancellation/rescheduling policy below
2. Security deposits are due at the time of check-in
3. 100% released if equipment is returned safely without damage(s)
4. Funds are usually available immediately upon release but can take up to five (5) business days depending on your bank. In situations where there is/are damage(s) needing repair(s), it may take longer to process any remaining balance from deposit depending on availability of repair shop and extent of damage, hence, completion of work. An email notification will be sent to customer upon completion of repair(s)
5. If a customer's security deposit is insufficient for any repairs, they will be contacted immediately for payment of the balance
6. If there's any funds left from the security deposit, a refund of the remaining balance will be processed after the repair(s)
Note: Extensive damages to an equipment may require a complete replacement at least in the same condition or better.
